The Retirement Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals approaching or enjoying retirement build the financial knowledge and confidence they need to make informed decisions about their future.
Our Retirement Education Course provides more than eight hours of practical, in-depth education on the decisions that can shape your retirement. Topics include income planning, advanced tax planning, Social Security, estate and legacy planning, health and long-term care, and our four-bucket approach to asset allocation.
You’ll also learn why investments alone are not the only factor in determining whether your money lasts throughout retirement, how to become a more disciplined investor, and how to find and evaluate the right team.
In Michigan and Missouri, courses are offered in person at leading universities, including the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, Michigan State University, and Oakland University. We are currently offering the course virtually in Pennsylvania as we prepare to bring our in-person program to local universities and communities there soon.
Our goal is simple: to give you the knowledge and tools to approach retirement with greater confidence and clarity.
